No. I have not seen the language for the new rules, so I cannot verify yet whether that week between the last Tuesday in February and the March 1 -- the first Tuesday in March -- continues to provide the states with a little frontloading wiggle room.<br /><br />However, there is some <a href="http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20140123/POLITICS03/301230124/1361/rss41" rel="nofollow">local reporting out of Michigan</a> that seems to indicate the need for moving the primary to comply with these rules changes.<br /><br />I'm awaiting word from my contacts in the RNC on the exact nature of the changes/language before I jump into analyzing it though.
